The Wheaton North Summer Reading Program encourages an appreciation for reading that extends across all curricula and encourages independent readers to become life-long learners.
How can parents encourage their students to read this summer?
- Read one or more of the Summer Reading books -they make great conversation starters!
- Keep reading material around the house - books, magazines, etc.
- As your student to read to younger siblings and family members.
- Take your student to the local library or bookstore.
