The Student Personnel Services (SPS) staff is a multidisciplinary team made up of guidance counselors, social workers, psychologists, and nurses. Each specialist in the team brings their unique knowledge of people, how they function, and how various issues can interfere with the learning process. Each has his and her own strengths in working with students as they experience various developmental milestones involving social, personal, emotional, educational, and planning issues. The SPS team aids students through decision-making, personal reflection, information gathering and related services that assist them in reaching these milestones. The team supports students through personal and group counseling, individual and group guidance activities, and appropriate consultation with parents, teachers and community agencies.
